Development

1910 ~ 1960 1910 Establishment of TAKIGEN SHOTEN at 325 Osaki-mura,Ebara-gun,Tokyo
1945 Offices, plant and plant facilities burned to the ground in war damage.
1946 Plant and offices opened at present location.
Commencement of manufacture and sales of construction and engineering fittings.
1950 Reorganisation as TAKIGEN SHOTEN Inc.
Capital increased to 8 million yen.
1963 Company name revised to TAKIGEN MFG. CO., LTD.
and capital increased to 12 million yen.Opening of Osaka branch.
1967 Opening Kawasaki branch.
1970 1970 Capital increased to 30 million yen.
1972 Capital increased to 45 million yen.
Transfer of head offices to present location.
1973 Opening of Nagoya and Fukuoka branches.
Commencement of manufacture and sales of key switches.
1974 Opening of Komatsugawa, Urawa and Sendai branches.
1977 Commencement of sales of freezer/refrigerator hardware.
1978 Capital increased to 90 million yen.
1979 Capital increased to 135 million yen.
1980 1980 Opening of Hiroshima branch.
1981 Opening of Numazu branch.
1982 Completion of TAKIGEN Building.
1985 Capital increased to 230 million yen.
1988 Capital increased to 460 million yen.
1989 Opening of Kyoto and Niigata branches.
Commencement of sales of vehicle hardware.
1990 1991 Opening of Utsunomiya branch.
1993 Opening of Sapporo branch.
1995 Commencement of sales of server rack hardware.
1996 Opening of Hachioji branch.
1997 Opening of Showrooms on 3rd floor of TAKIGEN Building.
2000 ~ 2002 Opening of TAKIGEN KOREA
2002 Opening of Atsugi branch
2003 ISO 9001 Quality system accreditation
2004 ISO 14001 Environmental management system accreditation
2007 Remodeling and opening of Kawasaki branch
